Budget climate change measures mean an increase in the solar rebate scheme

The Treasurer, Peter Costello, is expected to announce an increase in the solar rebate scheme in tomorrow's Budget. Professor Andrew Blakers from the ANU Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems welcomed the news, but warned that the Government must also support solar research and product commercialisation.
