Solar helps soldiers to soldier on

Researchers in the Centre for Sustainable Energy Sytems (CSES) are currently involved in a project with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) to develop portable solar powered batteries that can supply the energy needs for a range of electronic devices carried by the modern soldier for combat and survival. The project is funded under DSTO's Capability and Technology Demonstrator (CTD) Program.
