Engineering the environment
Mr Michael Smith, Departmental Visitor from the Fenner School of Society and Environment, says that more needs to be done to equip engineers with the knowledge to reduce carbon emissions and other environmental impacts.
"Engineers are in a very powerful position to make a difference in climate change policy and practice," he said in addressing a College seminar on 3 May 2007.
