Backing for solar tariff in the ACT


Director of the Centre for Sustainable Energy Systems, Professor Andrew Blakers, today backed the ACT Government's plan for ACTEWAGL to increase the solar tariff for consumers who install solar panels on their roofs.

But ACTEWAGL says that to do this, unacceptable costs would be passed on to consumers that choose not to have solar panels installed.
